How to create discrete log in petrel

In well section window ==> Process tools

choose create new discrete log

Pop up window will show Select discrete template
 


 For example select Facies template







click OK

In Input Pane, expand the Global Well Logs














 At the bottom new Facies log has been crated.
Double click on the facies for Setting

 

 Click on Template to set the code number and color




 or we can set the template of the facies in Templates pane. Find Discrete property templates ==> Facies.

To determine facies in each well. Go to each well and find the Facies log in Well Logs each well. Right click on Facies and choose Spreadsheet...



 put the depth of the facies number based on the template facies Code number
